Description

As an Account Director, you will lead public affairs programs for health clients, crafting stakeholder engagement and government relations strategies, managing account teams, and providing strategic counsel. You'll work with global and Canadian companies to drive impactful advocacy initiatives.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years in public affairs, communications, government, or political role
  • Post-secondary degree in political science, public policy, communications, or similar
  • Understanding of provincial political environment, public policy, and Canada's health landscape
  • Established network of health stakeholder and government relationships
  • Strong knowledge of health sector policy, trends, and stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute stakeholder engagement, advocacy, communications, and government relations plans for health clients
  • Devise innovative strategies to address complex client issues or public affairs challenges
  • Leverage relationships with health system stakeholders and government officials for policy insights
  • Craft advocacy materials including briefing notes, backgrounders, position papers, and submissions
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to account team colleagues
