Description

You will oversee joint venture financial operations for a large-scale real estate investment platform, managing budgeting, forecasting, cash management, capital accounts, debt compliance, investor reporting, and acquisition/disposition accounting. You'll ensure GAAP compliance and support complex JV structures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA highly preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with 3+ in real estate or private equity JV structures
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and JV accounting principles
• Experience with Yardi, MRI, Kardin, or similar real estate systems
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual business plan, operating budget, and capital budget for JV-level consolidation and variance analysis
• Manage cash management, treasury, capital calls, and distribution waterfall calculations
• Oversee property-level accounting prepared by third-party managers for GAAP compliance
• Prepare quarterly investor reporting packages including financial statements, variance analysis, and performance metrics (IRR, MOIC)
• Support acquisition/disposition accounting including opening balance sheets and final sale allocations
