Description

You will perform onsite preventive, corrective, and restorative maintenance on critical power systems like UPS, DC systems, and batteries. You'll troubleshoot, install equipment, mentor crew members, and build customer relationships to ensure reliable power infrastructure.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in OEM critical power service or 3 years in third-party field service with technical progression
• Good understanding of AC/DC electrical principles
• Knowledge of test equipment operation (multi-meters, battery test equipment)
• Ability to read and interpret electronics schematics and troubleshoot to component level
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and ability to lift up to 100 pounds

Responsibilities

• Install electrical equipment such as rack-mounted UPS, batteries, and monitoring equipment
• Perform preventive, corrective, and restorative maintenance on UPS, DC systems, and batteries
• Troubleshoot and resolve field service calls, including failure analysis and component-level repairs
• Build customer relationships and upsell products
• Teach and mentor crew members on site work and troubleshooting techniques
