You'll design and build backend systems powering spend controls and card transactions at massive scale. Your work will directly shape how finance teams automate billions in spend. You'll collaborate across product and data teams to deliver intelligent, user-first experiences.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and scale backend systems for spend controls and card transactions
• Integrate with Ramp's AI platform to automate spend policy enforcement
• Own projects end-to-end from architecture to deployment and observability
• Partner with platform teams to ensure reliability across financial systems

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience with backend focus
• Strong fundamentals in backend systems and API design
• Experience with PostgreSQL, AWS, and modern observability tooling
• Product sense and ability to balance technical quality with speed

✨ Nice to Have

• Fintech or payments experience
• Exposure to AI- or rule-based automation systems
• Experience with distributed systems processing large transaction volumes
