Description

You will lead the daily operations of in-house textile testing laboratories, ensuring accurate and timely testing aligned with corporate and regulatory standards. You'll oversee technician training, equipment management, and cross-functional support for product development and quality teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in textiles, textile chemistry, materials science, or related field
• 5-8 years of lab experience in apparel or textiles testing
• Hands-on experience with AATCC and ASTM methods
• Experience managing technicians and daily lab operations
• Experience managing multi-site labs or offshore teams

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workflow for textile and apparel test requests (AATCC, ASTM, ISO, internal methods)
• Review and release test reports with data-driven conclusions
• Ensure testing consistency across US and Nicaragua labs
• Oversee equipment installation, calibration, and preventive maintenance
• Lead, coach, and schedule lab technicians in both locations
