You'll own critical subsystems for next-gen thin-film deposition equipment at the world's leading private fusion company. You'll bridge mechanical, electrical, and software teams to ensure system-level cohesion. This role uniquely blends hands-on troubleshooting with program management.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Act as primary technical owner for **vacuum pumps, chillers, and gas delivery modules**
• Lead hands-on operation, diagnosing complex electromechanical and software issues
• Author and maintain equipment specifications and system requirements for R&D platforms
• Create and manage project schedules and budgets for equipment upgrades

📋 Requirements

• 12+ years experience in operation, integration, or design of complex R&D or semiconductor equipment
• Proven ability to manage hardware-software interfaces in motor-controlled and sensor-heavy environments
• Practical experience with vacuum architecture (pumps, gauges, leak detection) and thermal management systems
• High proficiency in tool troubleshooting using diagnostic equipment and software control interfaces

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with PVD, CVD, or thermal evaporation systems
• Roll-to-roll (R2R) material processing integration expertise
• Familiarity with SEMI, ASME, safety standards for vacuum and high-voltage equipment
