Description

You will install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and equipment, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, perform emergency repairs, and provide technical direction. You'll be based in San Luis Obispo and travel throughout California.

Requirements

• Field experience with commercial heating and air conditioning
• Knowledge of commercial air-conditioning, heating, water source heat pumps rooftop packaged HVAC systems
• Expected to travel 50% of the time to anywhere in the entire state California
• EPA Type 1 2 of universal certification
• Must have your own hand tools
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must be able to Lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to bend or twist their body
• Must be able to climb ladders, scaffolds, or poles
• Must be able to repeat the same movements

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining and repairing HVAC systems and equipment
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
• Providing technical direction and on-the-job training
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions
• Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements
• Assisting with customers' queries in a professional manner
