💼 About This Role

You'll lead the security architecture for Field AI's robotic platforms, building a hardware Root of Trust from the silicon up. You'll design Secure Boot flows, manage hardware-backed keys, and harden UNIX/Linux environments against remote and physical attacks. This role ensures the platform is a Fortress OS before any mission code runs.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement end-to-end Secure Boot chain with TPM.
• Harden Linux golden images via sysctl, AppArmor, and kernel stripping.
• Engineer network isolation using mTLS and iptables policies.
• Build Python automation for security posture checks and integrity monitoring.

📋 Requirements

• Expert-level Linux/UNIX administration and security hardening.
• Hands-on experience with TPM 2.0 and hardware-backed key storage.
• High proficiency in C/C++ for low-level system interactions.
• Deep knowledge of defensive networking including VPN and mTLS.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience designing a complete secure boot and measured boot chain.
• Hands-on work with TPM-backed disk encryption and remote attestation.
• Experience securing over-the-air (OTA) update systems.
