Description

You will develop state-of-the-art sensor calibration algorithms combining classic robotics and modern ML techniques. You'll analyze algorithm accuracy, integrate calibration pipelines into the autonomy system, and work cross-functionally to accelerate ML model training and performance evaluation.

Requirements

  • PhD + 3+ years, Masters + 4+ years, or 5+ years industry experience in ML, CS, EE, robotics, or related field
  • Deep understanding of ML fundamentals with experience training and evaluating modern models
  • Strong Python skills with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Jax)
  • Hands-on experience with sensor data (IMU, camera, lidar, radar, etc.)
  • Experience in building offline/online state estimation and/or calibration algorithms

Responsibilities

  • Research and develop state-of-the-art state estimation and calibration algorithms combining classic robotics and ML
  • Analyze and characterize accuracy and performance of algorithms
  • Integrate state estimation and calibration pipelines into autonomy system
  • Work cross-functionally to accelerate ML model training and end-to-end performance evaluation
  • Answer critical questions about sensor data and autonomy performance
