Description

You will help build and operate the core engine powering automated lifecycle programs at Klaviyo, processing billions of events and sending millions of messages reliably. You'll tackle complex backend challenges, contribute to technology decisions, and ship well-tested solutions for the Flows Platform team.

Requirements

• 3+ years software engineering experience focused on backend systems and high-volume data processing
• Deep backend proficiency with Python and Django (or similar frameworks)
• Experience with asynchronous task queues (Celery, RabbitMQ, Pulsar) and distributed systems
• Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL/Aurora) and NoSQL stores (Redis, DynamoDB)
• Focus on clean, maintainable code and robust testing practices

Responsibilities
