Description

Lead the design and development of microcontroller, sensing, and control boards for high-performance airborne power conversion systems. You will take ownership from concept through production, using Altium Designer for schematic capture and layout, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize designs for electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.

Requirements

• BS in EE with 5+ years or MS with 3+ years in circuit board design
• Proven PCBA design from blank sheet to production
• Understanding of analog/power circuits (MOSFETs, op-amps, regulators)
• Experience designing for EMI/EMC and high-speed communications
• Experience in mission-critical fail-safe and redundant design

Responsibilities

• Lead microcontroller, sensing, and control board development from concept to production
• Develop electrical system requirements and design complete electrical systems
• Perform schematic capture in Altium Designer and supervise layout
• Use simulations and tests to validate designs
• Collaborate with mechanical, systems, and manufacturing engineers
