Description

You will take ownership of the full design cycle for primary and secondary structures on Terran R, from conceptualization through manufacturing and test, working on innovative solutions to reduce mass and complexity. You'll design flight components using NX/TeamCenter, perform analysis with Nastran and ANSYS, create and release drawings, and support fabrication, all while collaborating across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Significant mechanical or structural design experience
• Proven track record completing collaborative projects effectively
• Experience with NX/TeamCenter and structural analysis (Nastran, ANSYS)
• Self-motivated and adaptable, able to lead projects to completion
• Ability to design, analyze, and release drawings for flight hardware

Responsibilities

• Innovative conceptualization of structural load paths and design for complex structures
• Review static/dynamic load inputs, material properties, and structural requirements
• Analyze and size flight structures to ensure timely design reviews and drawing release
• Develop and support hardware test campaigns including integration, operation, and evaluation
• Support manufacturing process development
