💼 About This Role

You'll own and continuously improve Monzo's insurance pricing, sitting at the intersection of data, pricing, and growth. You'll turn data into actionable pricing decisions that drive conversion, competitiveness, and profitability. This role offers direct impact on scaling distribution channels like price comparison websites.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own day-to-day pricing performance and market positioning analysis
• Analyze pricing, conversion, and loss ratio data to identify opportunities
• Run pricing experiments including elasticity testing on PCWs
• Refine pricing segments, rating factors, and tiering

📋 Requirements

• Pricing experience in UK Home insurance or similar general insurance
• Highly analytical with hands-on data analysis using SQL and Python/Jupyter/Looker
• Sufficient underwriting knowledge to challenge insurer proposals and assumptions
• Solid grounding in SQL and data analysis tools

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in a digital-first insurer or insurtech
• Experience with PCWs or price-sensitive distribution channels
• Familiarity with underwriting concepts and insurer-led pricing
