💼 About This Role

You'll apply your controls engineering background to validate and test robot systems in real-world automation environments. You'll bridge the gap between traditional controls and quality assurance, ensuring seamless integration into customer cells.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and execute test plans for PLC and HMI integration
• Validate industrial communication protocols and I/O interfaces
• Build and maintain test fixtures for automated hardware testing
• Document test procedures and create wiring diagrams

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years of controls engineering or industrial automation experience
• Working knowledge of PLC programming and industrial protocols (Modbus, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET)
• Comfortable with DC wiring, reading schematics, and using test equipment

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with robotic systems (6-axis, SCARA, or collaborative robots)
• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Beckhoff PLC platforms
• Basic scripting ability (Python, structured text) for test automation
