Description

In this role, you will own critical backend services and integrations for Wirespeed's detection and enrichment platform, working end-to-end from architecture to rollout. You will shape technical direction and mentor senior engineers, all while collaborating with detection engineering and security operations teams to translate security strategies into robust production systems.

Requirements

• Significant experience as backend/platform engineer building distributed systems in production
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript/Node.js or similar modern backend language
• Hands-on experience with third-party API integrations; security tools experience preferred
• Solid understanding of security concepts and expertise in at least one security domain
• Proven technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of core backend services for detection and enrichment platform
• Own high-impact integrations with security tools (EDR, identity providers, SIEMs) end to end
• Collaborate with detection engineering and security operations to create production-quality detection logic
• Set technical standards for code quality, testing, and observability
• Mentor senior engineers on complex architectural decisions
