Description

You will design products and experiences that impact people's lives, working across disciplines and leading clients through the industrial design phase. You'll collaborate with diverse teams and engage in all aspects of the design process from research to prototyping.

Requirements

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and working closely with engineers
• Skill in delivering engineering drawings and specifying CMF (colors, material, and finishes)
• Excellent storytelling and narrative skills around craft
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
• Strong visualization skills from quick concept sketching to complete

Responsibilities

• Create product designs and experiences that impact people's lives
• Lead clients and teams through the industrial design phase
• Work across disciplines with design researchers, communication designers, business designers, and interaction designers
• Participate in all aspects of the design process: user research, brainstorming, concept development, prototyping, working with engineers and manufacturers
• Build empathy with users through field activities
