Description

You will design, plan, and implement outside plant projects for copper and fiber networks, including engineering drawings, permitting, field coordination, and construction support. Your work ensures telecom infrastructure is built efficiently and compliant with standards.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented and experienced in OSP engineering
• Strong background in engineering, permitting, and construction coordination
• Ability to manage budgets and ensure compliance with standards
• Proficiency with FROGS (CAD), Varasset, and SiteTracker tools
• Ability to coordinate with municipalities and other utilities

Responsibilities

• Design and plan OSP copper/fiber infrastructure (aerial, buried, conduit)
• Prepare engineering drawings, loop loss calculations, and switch serving area designs
• Conduct field measurements for poles, conduits, and buried facilities
• Develop project budgets, monitor costs, and perform quality inspections
• Prepare and submit permit packages to regulatory agencies
