💼 About This Role

You'll support the generation and characterization of producer cell lines for AAV-based therapeutics in a fast-paced R&D environment. You'll apply molecular and genetic techniques to inform host cell and viral interactions. This co-op offers hands-on bench science experience at a rare disease company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop suspension rAAV-producing stable cell lines for clinical trials
• Maintain mammalian cell lines in adherent and suspension culture
• Optimize high-throughput cell screening platform technology
• Perform molecular biology assays for cell line and rAAV characterization

📋 Requirements

• Enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Biology or related field with at least 2 years completed
• Plan to return to school in spring 2027 term
• Availability for 6-month co-op starting July 6, 2026
• Experience with mammalian cell culture

• Experience with plasmid transfections or viral infections
• Familiarity with NGS sequencing techniques
• Familiarity with cell line engineering methods
