πΌ About This Role
You'll bridge the gap between developers exploring Temporal and our commercial team, engaging with product-qualified leads to drive adoption. You'll own the inbound PLG funnel, providing timely guidance and converting curiosity into success. This role offers a front-row seat to shaping how developers adopt Temporal Cloud.
π― What You'll Do
- Engage with new sign-ups to understand their goals and provide technical guidance.
- Proactively manage "Ask an Expert" requests and ensure high-quality responses.
- Qualify leads based on behavioral signals and route to appropriate teams.
- Track performance against KPIs and communicate insights on lead quality.
π Requirements
- Deep understanding of APIs, databases, backend vs. frontend, and cloud fundamentals.
- Basic proficiency in Python and understanding of software development workflows.
- Ability to quickly learn Temporal's value proposition and engage credibly with developers.
- Excellent communication skills to simplify technical topics and build trust.
β¨ Nice to Have
- 1β3 years in a technical, customer-facing role (BDR, Solutions Engineering, etc.).
- Experience with developer tools or infrastructure products.
- Demonstrated ability to blend technical conversations with business qualification.
