You'll lead day-to-day news coverage and multiplatform storytelling at a TEGNA-owned NBC affiliate in Midland-Odessa. You'll shape breaking news coverage and grow journalists through coaching. This short-term assignment offers a chance to drive impact in a dynamic newsroom.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Work with producers, reporters, anchors, and photographers on compelling storytelling
• Oversee production of newscasts and special programming
• Make split-second decisions during breaking news and severe weather
• Strategize with executive team on goals for people, content, and audience

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or related field
• 3-5 years of content experience including original content generation
• Solid journalistic judgment emphasizing accurate, fair, unique local content
• Strong people management and communication skills in a fast-paced environment
