Description

You will lead the modernization of a legacy monolith into a containerized, scalable environment on AWS, integrating with Robinhood's global infrastructure. You'll drive core platform changes, automate operations, and ensure 24/7 reliability through on-call participation.

Requirements

• 4-5+ years backend engineering experience
• Strong background in Docker, Kubernetes, and legacy modernization
• Experience with AWS (ECS, EC2, Aurora, DynamoDB)
• Proven autonomy in managing complex projects
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Containerize monolith application (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Integrate backend with Robinhood's global infrastructure
• Improve platform performance and reduce operational toil
• Own projects end-to-end from design to deployment
• Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 reliability
