💼 About This Role

You'll join as the second lawyer at Base, a next-generation power company, shaping the Legal function for a rapidly scaling organization. You'll lead transactional needs across commercial contracts, partnerships, and real estate while developing scalable legal frameworks. This role offers a chance to work in a risk-forward environment and directly impact America's energy infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Negotiate partnership deals, vendor agreements, and facility leases.
• Lead review and negotiation of commercial contracts, MSAs, NDAs.
• Develop company-wide practices to mitigate legal risk across cybersecurity, employment, and consumer protection.
• Build scalable legal frameworks enabling business flexibility and growth.

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years of legal experience with a strong transactional background.
• Ability to run independently on legal items in a small, fast-growing business.
• Experience in energy, utilities, or technology sectors preferred but not required.
