💼 About This Role

You'll own the architecture and reliability of analytics databases and BI platforms at Agoda, primarily StarRocks and SQL Server DW. Your work will directly impact data-powered decisions across the company, and you'll lead key modernization initiatives.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and evolve BI data warehouse architecture
• Lead migration and modernization projects for MSSQL DW
• Define SLIs/SLOs and monitor key database services
• Perform deep query and workload tuning for high-impact systems

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years experience in data engineering
• Strong expertise with StarRocks or similar MPP systems
• Solid SQL Server experience including query tuning
• Proven experience operating mission-critical database services in production

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP)
• Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau or Superset
• Knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools
