Description

You will work closely with Stripe's Product Engineering team to build scalable Stripe integrations and standalone applications for strategic users, bridging technical and business needs while shaping a new engineering arm.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional full-stack development (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Ruby, Go, or Java)
• Experience with backend infrastructure and building scalable systems
• Proven ability to design, build, and deploy production applications
• Excellence at rapid prototyping with appropriate quality standards
• Familiarity with containerized applications and object-oriented programming

Responsibilities

• Design and architect robust, scalable, secure technical solutions aligned with customer needs
• Build and deploy production applications combining user business logic, Stripe best practices, and user-facing interfaces
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to bridge technical teams and executives
• Drive direction of the new Forward Deployed Engineering team and contribute to technical projects
• Engage directly with users to understand challenges and co-develop solutions
