Description

You will monitor and maintain payments performance for Stripe's largest users, triaging and investigating regressions in authentication and cost rates, providing analysis, and engaging with users and internal teams to maximize acceptance rates and minimize costs and fraud.

Requirements

• At least 1 year technical experience writing SQL queries for relational databases
• Experience navigating financial systems and solving large-scale technical challenges
• Strong analytical skills for root cause investigation and prioritization
• Experience managing communications with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Monitor authorization rates and performance for large users, triaging and investigating alerts of degradation
• Analyze cost checkers to ensure accuracy of cost models
• Respond to performance inquiries from technical account managers, product support, and other internal teams
• Interface with financial partners to communicate operational breakages and drive resolutions
• Identify and automate inefficient operational processes to reduce manual workloads
