Description

You will define and implement procurement strategies for K2 Space's electrical supply chain, managing everything from sourcing to supplier relationships to ensure hardware meets cost, schedule, and quality targets. This role is critical to advancing K2's mission of building the largest and highest-power satellites ever flown.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of market capabilities for electrical hardware manufacturing
• Experience in technical procurement of electrical hardware
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
• Familiarity with aerospace or high-reliability hardware supply chains preferred

Responsibilities

• Define company-wide strategy for sourcing electrical hardware (sensors, PCBs, PCBAs, harnesses, connectors, wire, ICs, SMD components)
• Lead cradle-to-grave supplier management including vendor onboarding, quoting, order placement, and issue resolution
• Drive negotiations with key suppliers to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets
• Manage end-to-end Bill of Material (BOM) for owned assemblies
• Work cross-functionally with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and track build milestones
