You'll serve as the technical authority for laser powder bed fusion solutions, guiding customers from design through production. You'll lead DFAM and CAM workflows and build internal automation tools to scale additive manufacturing. This role combines customer-facing technical leadership with hands-on process development at a fast-growing aerospace automation company.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Serve as primary technical contact for customers, capturing requirements and translating into AM plans.
  • Lead design for additive manufacturing (DfAM) including build orientation, support strategy, and topology optimization.
  • Perform AM CAM work: build file development, support generation, and process parameter selection.
  • Develop internal automation tools to streamline DfAM and CAM workflows.

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • 8+ years in metal additive manufacturing applications or process engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with laser powder bed fusion processes including parameter development and build planning.
  • Customer-facing technical role experience.
  • Experience supporting parts from prototype through qualification and production.

  • Master's degree in relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience in aerospace or defense regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience developing standardized application playbooks or design guidelines.
