Description

As a Senior BIM/VDC Engineer at Redwood Materials, you will lead the digital delivery of a large, fast-moving project by managing and designing the BIM model. You'll coordinate federated building models across multiple disciplines and teams, ensuring accurate and integrated project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Civil, Architectural, or Mechanical Engineering or 5-8 years hands-on experience
• Expert knowledge of Revit and Autodesk software
• Experience with point clouds and laser scanners
• Experience in aerial surveying using drones (FAA Remote Pilot Certification a plus)
• Experience in model automations using Revit API

Responsibilities

• Provide management and design skills to support detailed BIM model
• Set course for digital delivery of large project with discipline leads and executive management
• Setup and maintain large federated building models involving 8-10 disciplines
• Coordinate model produced by Design Team, Trade Contractors, and third-party vendors
• Integrate work of layout team, tool-line owners, and design team for planning
