💼 About This Role

You'll lead Brex's B2B collections and recovery strategy across unsecured corporate card and financial products. Your core impact will be driving step-function improvements in recovery rates while balancing customer relationships. This role offers the opportunity to shape AI-assisted collections and modern risk operations at a high-growth fintech.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define multi-year vision for B2B collections and recovery strategy
• Own performance metrics for delinquencies, roll rates, and net charge-offs
• Lead and mentor internal collections managers and specialists
• Oversee external collection agencies and legal partners
• Partner with Data Science and Engineering to build predictive models and AI tools

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years in collections, risk operations, or credit cycle management
• 5+ years focused on B2B/commercial unsecured credit
• 3+ years in a senior leadership role
• Deep domain expertise in commercial collections strategies including workouts and legal recoveries

• Experience implementing AI-assisted collections outreach
• Familiarity with modern CRM/collections software ecosystems
• Understanding of startup/venture-backed business ecosystem
