You'll design and evolve core backend systems for a high-scale email infrastructure platform, handling millions of daily API requests and tens of millions of emails. You'll solve deeply technical challenges in distributed systems, high availability, and large-scale message delivery. This role offers high autonomy in a remote-first, fast-moving environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build core backend systems for transactional and marketing emails.
• Develop async messaging pipelines with queues, streams, and retries.
• Scale and optimize databases like Postgres and ClickHouse.
• Improve system reliability and disaster recovery strategies.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience with distributed systems.
• Strong experience operating and scaling systems on AWS.
• Deep understanding of event-driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka, SQS, SNS).
• Strong proficiency in Typescript and/or Golang.

• Interest in or willingness to learn about email infrastructure and delivery systems.
• Experience with high-throughput, production-grade systems.
