💼 About This Role

You'll own the strategy and execution for embedding AI into Vultr's software engineering workflows, building and operating LLM inference infrastructure at scale. You'll work on model lifecycle management, MCP server integration, and AI-powered CI/CD pipelines to accelerate how engineers build cloud infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Evaluate and curate open-source LLMs for engineering use cases
• Build and maintain MCP servers exposing internal context to AI assistants
• Integrate AI into GitLab CI/CD pipelines for code review and test generation
• Own model lifecycle including versioning, A/B routing, and benchmarking

📋 Requirements

• Hands-on experience deploying LLM inference systems at scale
• Strong Docker and container skills with full lifecycle management
• Deep familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipeline authoring and integration
• Software engineering fundamentals with real code contributions

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with RAG pipelines over code or tech documentation
• GPU infrastructure familiarity including CUDA and multi-GPU serving
• Working knowledge of MCP or similar context-injection patterns
