Description

Lead a mixed-age infant classroom in a Montessori environment. You'll prepare the classroom, observe each child, and provide individualized care to nurture independence, curiosity, and confidence in infants, honoring their unique rhythms and needs.

Requirements

Interest in pursuing Montessori certification or prior Montessori diploma
Experience working with children ages 0-3 in group care
Alignment with child-led educational philosophies
ECE or Child Development credits
Bachelor's degree (Child related field)

Responsibilities

Observe each child to understand physical, emotional, and cognitive development
Respect and follow each child's natural rhythms for sleeping, eating, and toileting
Prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly environment fostering trust and exploration
Support independence by encouraging children to participate in care activities
Build warm relationships with children and families; partner with parents
