Description

You will design, implement, and operate large-scale database infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance. You will lead migration projects, collaborate with engineering teams, and improve database processes across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of database operations experience with scalable infrastructure automation
• 10+ years of MySQL experience
• 5+ years of experience with NoSQL data stores like DynamoDB, Cassandra
• Experience with AWS database services and on-call incident response

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate large-scale database infrastructure automation
• Build monitoring and logging systems for performance optimization and failure prevention
• Manage Aurora/MySQL, DynamoDB, Mongo/DocumentDB (performance tuning, backup, disaster recovery, Active/Passive in AWS)
• Lead Aurora MySQL NewSQL migration projects
• Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, and TPM teams to improve database processes
