💼 About This Role

You'll support the development and validation of Guidance, Navigation, and Control algorithms for precise reentry flight. You'll work with senior engineers to improve simulation and test infrastructure, validate sensor and actuator models, and contribute directly to flight algorithm development. This is a unique opportunity to build the foundation for real flight performance on a novel reentry vehicle.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Support development of tools for test data review and visualization
• Validate sensor and actuator models through analysis and correlation
• Contribute to unit testing and software quality for GNC code
• Support development and tuning of reentry flight algorithms

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or Electrical Engineering
• 1+ years of experience developing and testing GNC algorithms or dynamic system models
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C++ for simulation and analysis
• Experience with data analysis and technical problem solving

✨ Nice to Have

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Robotics
• Experience with Kalman filtering or sensor fusion
• Hardware in the Loop (HITL) or flight test data analysis experience
