Description

As a Habilitation Technician, you will work one-on-one with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to help them develop independence and achieve personal goals through activities like hobbies, socializing, and community outings. You'll build lasting relationships and support clients in a flexible, part-time role.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Passion for providing opportunities to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Patience, empathy, and dedication

Responsibilities

• Build long-lasting relationships in a one-on-one setting
• Spend time on client's hobbies and activities, like Special Olympics
• Support clients in developing independence and achieving goals (budgeting, socializing, etc.)
• Be attentive to meet individual needs with dignity and respect
• Ensure client safety and well-being in home and community
