You'll lead the engineering vision and oversee a 32-developer team at Felix, Canada's first end-to-end digital healthcare platform. You'll define key processes, experiment with AI-powered tools like Claude Code to maximize build speed and quality, and collaborate with SVP Engineering and product teams. This role offers high impact at a mid-stage technology company and the chance to shape engineering strategy in a remote-first environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Spearhead strategy for velocity, quality, and maintainability using AI tools.
• Define and optimize workflows and tooling for AI-augmented development.
• Mentor developers on architectural and AI-development best practices.
• Design and monitor engineering KPIs and operational efficiency.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of leadership experience in software engineering.
• Hands-on experience managing 30+ developer teams using AI code generation tools.
• Deep understanding of AI-augmented SDLC including code review and prompt engineering.
• Proven ability to build cohesive, high-performing teams and manage diverse projects.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in healthcare or regulated industry.
• Background in scaling engineering teams during rapid growth.
• Familiarity with Claude Code or similar LLM-based development tools.
