💼 About This Role

You'll design and build distributed systems that power Ditto's edge-to-cloud platform, focusing on real-time sync and scalability. You'll lead Rust service development integrated with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures. This role reports directly to the incoming CTO at a fast-growing startup with strong enterprise traction.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and scale distributed systems for edge-to-cloud
• Lead Rust service development on Kubernetes
• Solve real-time sync and fault-tolerance problems
• Mentor engineers and shape engineering culture

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering
• Experience at FAANG or major cloud provider
• Strong background in Rust or equivalent systems language
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes and distributed systems

• Experience with edge computing or peer-to-peer networking
• Background in CRDTs or offline-first databases
• Startup experience in a high-growth environment
