💼 About This Role

You'll provide legal advisory support to business units across a regulated financial institution. You'll manage Small Claims litigation and regulatory filings independently. This hybrid role offers the chance to work with a top Canadian bank on the Forbes World's Best Banks list.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Provide legal advice on regulatory, corporate, and contractual matters
• Manage Small Claims litigation from strategy to settlement
• Draft and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents
• Coordinate regulatory filings and corporate governance records

📋 Requirements

• Paralegal diploma from an accredited institution
• 5-7 years of progressive legal experience in a regulated environment
• Experience independently managing litigation (preferably Small Claims)
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks for financial institutions

✨ Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with SEDI, SEDAR, Teraview, or Cyberbahn
• French language proficiency
• Experience with privacy law (PIPEDA)
