💼 About This Role

You'll build and validate Linux kernels and firmware for Scaleway's cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliable server deployments across data centers. You'll collaborate with hardware, QA, and software teams to automate image lifecycle management.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain Linux kernels and initramfs images
• Validate OS and firmware compatibility with hardware platforms
• Implement PXE boot environments for bare-metal deployment
• Automate image building using Bash, Python, Ansible, CI/CD

📋 Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Linux internals and boot process
• Experience with firmware validation (BIOS/UEFI, BMC)
• Proficiency in PXE, TFTP, DHCP, and scripting (Bash, Python)
• 2–5 years in DevOps, Platform, or System Engineering

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and Ansible
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker)
