Description

You will lead the development and implementation of quality measures for large-scale federal programs, primarily CMS and CMMI. Your work will involve advising on measurement strategy, refining measures, and supporting performance-based payment models to improve healthcare quality and outcomes.

Requirements

• Senior technical expert in quality measure development and implementation for federal programs (CMS/CMMI)
• Expertise in methodological rigor and quality measures
• Ability to lead large projects or tasks and contribute to thought leadership
• Experience in business development within implementation and monitoring portfolio

Responsibilities

• Lead construction, interpretation, and computation of quality measures across Medicare and Medicaid model components
• Provide expert guidance on quality measure use for performance-based payment and monitoring
• Advise CMS on measure updates regarding feasibility, administrative burden, interoperability, and alignment with national frameworks
• Serve as senior advisor for quality measurement strategy, including annual review and refinement of measure sets
• Assess specification changes, certifications, and updates from measure stewards
