💼 About This Role

You'll own AllSpice's infrastructure strategy, security posture, and compliance programs while building and leading a small, high-impact team. You'll drive SOC 2 compliance and architect production AWS environments using Terraform. This is a hands-on leadership role with significant autonomy at a fast-growing startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own security posture, policies, and incident response
• Architect and maintain production AWS environments with Terraform
• Support enterprise customer security reviews and SSO integrations
• Hire, mentor, and manage infrastructure engineers

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years cloud infrastructure/security engineering experience
• 2+ years people management experience
• Deep hands-on expertise with AWS services, Linux, and Docker
• Demonstrated ownership of SOC 2 or similar compliance programs

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with ITAR/EAR/CUI compliance and GovCloud
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Python/Bash scripting
• Availability to work from San Francisco or Boston 1-2 days/week
