💼 About This Role

You'll gain hands-on veterinary experience in a fast-paced, mentorship-driven clinic environment. You'll work directly with patients, assist with procedures, observe surgeries, and engage with pet parents under the guidance of experienced doctors. This externship offers exposure to urgent care and routine wellness cases with valuable mentorship.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Interact with pet parents and communicate treatment plans
• Perform physical exams and review medical records
• Assist with treatments (medications, SQ/IV fluids) under supervision
• Scrub in and assist with procedures and surgeries

📋 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of AVMA-accredited DVM program
• Proof of medical insurance and required vaccinations/titers
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and perform physical tasks
• Effective communication skills and confidentiality standards
