💼 About This Role

You'll curate and produce intimate live events in Edmonton as part of Sofar's global community. You'll lead booking, promotion, and event execution to strengthen Sofar's brand locally. This freelance role offers flexibility and ownership in exchange for accountability and initiative.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Promote and sell tickets using self-directed local marketing tactics.
• Curate and book artists and venues for monthly shows.
• Manage city's financial performance and ensure event profitability.
• Build relationships with local businesses for sponsorships and private events.

📋 Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in live event curation, production, and promotions.
• Experience selling event sponsorships or marketing activations.
• Deep connections to the local arts scene and community networks.
• Track record of closing partnership deals with sponsors.
