Description

You will oversee day-to-day operations in a vehicle inspection center, leading a team of up to 70 associates in a lean manufacturing environment. Your focus will be on maintaining a culture of continuous improvement, meeting quality, production, and cost objectives, and developing your direct reports.

Requirements

• 5+ years management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Experience leading and developing associates
• Valid unrestricted driver's license with clean driving record (last 3 years)
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the Inspection Center
• Provide mentoring and accountability to direct reports; develop succession plans
• Ensure adherence to operating standards, policies, and performance standards
• Maintain adequate production capacity and assist with production planning
• Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement efforts
