💼 About This Role

You'll build a data platform that powers decision-making at AngelList, supporting $171B+ in assets. You'll shape how data flows from ingestion to modeling and analysis. Durable systems and long-term architecture are key to this role.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Standardize ingestion patterns and orchestration across our data stack
• Establish durable modeling patterns and canonical metric definitions
• Translate business questions into well-structured datasets and analyses
• Build monitoring and alerting for data pipeline observability

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years designing production data platforms
• Strong SQL skills and production-level Python proficiency
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Airflow, and dbt
• Experience in an AWS environment

• Experience building canonical data models serving as sources of truth
• Ability to partner effectively with engineering, product, and business stakeholders
• Active use of AI in daily data workflows
