💼 About This Role

You'll design, build, and scale systems powering Kalshi's exchange, clearinghouse, and APIs. Your work will be foundational as you own entire infrastructure systems from scratch. This role offers greenfield projects and autonomous technical decisions.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and standardize infrastructure for software development and deployment
• Automate testing frameworks across unit, API, and integration tests
• Architect large-scale systems with tradeoffs for performance and risk
• Develop infrastructure for high-performance data feeds and trading APIs

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Deep familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, RDS, Kafka
• Experience creating processes and tooling to improve engineering efficiency
• Strong experience in networking or security

• Experience building deployment systems in Kubernetes
• Experience designing dev/test environments in Kubernetes
• Experience building dynamic configuration systems
