You'll be the engineering lead for high-performance research data infrastructure supporting large human cohorts. Your work will directly accelerate discoveries in aging biology. This role offers the chance to drive projects end-to-end and shape data engineering standards at an innovative Alphabet-founded company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Collaborate with scientists to gather requirements and deploy production software
• Define and optimize data flows across the organization
• Develop data systems and internal web applications using React and Python
• Mentor junior engineers and champion engineering best practices

📋 Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in CS, Data Science, or related field
• 4+ years (BS/MS) or 1-2 years (PhD) professional software/data engineering experience
• Python and SQL fluency with strong software engineering principles
• Experience with cloud-based applications on GCP, AWS, or Azure

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with large-scale biological datasets
• Experience with web frameworks and infrastructure: FastAPI, React, Kubernetes, Terraform
• Ability to lead complex projects with diverse stakeholders
