You'll manage month-end close, financial reporting, and job cost analysis for a construction organization in Gaithersburg, MD. Your work will ensure accurate financial statements and support audit preparation. This onsite role offers direct impact on financial operations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Prepare month-end journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis
• Reconcile cash and balance sheet accounts to trial balance
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
• Support audit preparation and documentation

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience including construction industry
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Spectrum/Viewpoint accounting software
• Experience with job cost reporting
• Familiarity with Sales and Use tax compliance
