You will develop cutting-edge techniques for scalable evaluation of AI products, define operational domains, and enhance reliability via uncertainty quantification and safety mechanisms. Collaborate across teams to ensure responsible AI deployment in defense.

Requirements

• STEM MSc with strong mathematical and statistical background
• Excellent communication and research presentation skills
• Passion for keeping up with current DL research and reimplementing papers
• Solid software engineering in Python and/or Rust, Java, modern C++
• Experience deploying AI software to production including testing and monitoring

Responsibilities

• Define operational domains and evaluate AI capability reliability
• Develop state-of-the-art uncertainty quantification and calibration methods
• Design data collection and experimentation strategies for causal insights
• Assess robustness in real-world and adversarial scenarios
• Collaborate across teams to enhance responsible decision-making
