Description

You will monitor performance of solar power plants and BESS/storage systems, coordinate planned and emergency maintenance, and ensure safe, reliable, and compliant 24/7 operations. This role involves rotating shifts and requires handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

Requirements

• Two-year college degree in Electrical Technology or related field, or 1-3 years relevant work experience
• SCADA systems knowledge and familiarity with ERCOT ISO operating requirements preferred
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously at various stages of completion
• Ability to communicate detailed information accurately to internal and external customers
• Must be willing to work all shifts, weekends and holidays on a rotating 12-hour basis

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance of solar power plants and BESS/storage systems
• Rotating shifts for 24/7 monitoring and evaluation of system conditions
• Coordinate planned and emergency maintenance from ROC
• Recognize abnormal system conditions and respond to alarms
• Report, log, analyze and maintain accurate records of system conditions
